Is an art movement that emerged in the 1950s and flourished in the 1960s in America and Britain. Some of the best known artists that have used this art movement are Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Richard Hamilton, Peter Blake and David Hockney. I love the half tone effects that are included in the design of the posters. I like how it has been constructed from a cartoon perspective. It’s very simplistic, but shows great effect and detail. Pop art is very bold and vibrant, you can distinctively recognise it, as it is very eye catching.

Was an American artist who was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art. Above is a design he had created, first he initially illustrated the tins in different styles and then placed them out on a grid. To finish it off with the pop art effect he gave the tins flourishing colours, ones that made them stand out. I like the colours he has chosen, they all compliment each other really well, I even like the little details he gives the tins. For example, the shading on the tins and the style of the type, its very intricate.
